Nearly There!

It's quite a while since I last updated this.
We had hoped to be in by now but it looks like it could be another 6 to 8 weeks.

Things have progressed well and the outside of the house is just about finished.

The garage is now completed.

Patio and paths have been laid.

Inside has been painted and only needs a final coat to finish it off.
Underfloor heating has been installed and the screed poured.
The second fix electrics is well under way.

We need to wait another 2 or 3 weeks for the screed to dry fully before the tiles and oak flooring can be laid.
Shower trays are in and the second fix plumbing is about to be started.

Progress

Thanks mainly to the recent spell of good weather, progress has been good.

The roof is finished on the study extension, the front elevation and most of the rear.

The sunroom roof windows will be fitted next week and the roofing can then be completed.

Most of the stud walls on the first floor are now in place and a lot of the ground floor ceilings have had the plasterboard fitted

Most of the first fix plumbing has also been completed

Slates & Stonework

Slating is underway on several roof sections and the 2 Velux windows are now in place.

The stonework has been completed and looks great.

Windows

Despite the recent wind & rain and the Christmas break, things have progressed well.

The roof has had the felt & battens fitted and the majority of the windows are now glazed and installed.

The electrician has been on site and the first fix electrical work has started. Once the internal first floor walls are constructed, the first fix can be finished.

Slates are now on site and weather permitting will be fixed this coming week.

Roof

The roof structure is very nearly complete.

Two dormer windows need to be fitted into the front and side elevations and them the battens & felt can be fixed

Work has now finished for the Christmas break but, hopefully it'll be weathertight early in the New Year.
