Nearly There!
It's quite a while since I last updated this.
We had hoped to be in by now but it looks like it could be another 6 to 8 weeks.
Things have progressed well and the outside of the house is just about finished.

The garage is now completed.

Patio and paths have been laid.

Inside has been painted and only needs a final coat to finish it off.
Underfloor heating has been installed and the screed poured.
The second fix electrics is well under way.

We need to wait another 2 or 3 weeks for the screed to dry fully before the tiles and oak flooring can be laid.
Shower trays are in and the second fix plumbing is about to be started.

Windows
Despite the recent wind & rain and the Christmas break, things have progressed well.
The roof has had the felt & battens fitted and the majority of the windows are now glazed and installed.
The electrician has been on site and the first fix electrical work has started. Once the internal first floor walls are constructed, the first fix can be finished.

Roof Structure
The roof is now starting to take shape.
The majarity of the roof structure is being made on site with only one small area using trusses.
The blockwork on the end elevations is progressing well and as can be seen, pads to support the steelwork are in place.
The steel should be lifted in to place early next week and from there, the roof timbers will be fitted fairly quickly
we're hoping that the roof is felted & battened by 19th December when the builders start their two week Christmas break. The windows are on site and are being painted prior to fitting and glazing.
If all goes to plan, the house should be weathertight by the start of the new year.
